Luis Munoz April 2011
Jablonski Physics Services is proud to add Mr. Luis Munoz to its professional staff.   

Luis joined JPS in November 2010. He is a graduate of the Master’s degree program in Medical Radiation Physics at the University of Wollongong, Austrailia.  Luis is a talented young physicist who has acquired experience in x-ray quality assurance and in clinical radiation therapy quality assurance.  Jablonski Physics is happy to add him to our team!

Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior  is the first in Nebraska to install the Hologic Selenia 3-D mammography Tomosynthesis imaging system
Jablonski Physics Services performed the ACR physics testing in April 2011 for the unit at Brodstone Memorial Hospital. This is the first X-ray mammography device that provides three-dimensional (3-D) images of the breast for breast cancer screening and diagnosis.  http://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/Newsroom/PressAnnouncements/ucm243072.htm


Accreditation Deadline  (this applies only to private outpatient facilities, not to hospitals)   
Effective Jan 1, 2012 providers who bill under Part B of the Medicare Physician  Fee Schedule for CT, MRI, breast MRI, nuclear medicine, and PET must be accredited to receive technical component reimbursement from Medicare.
