External Beam Therapy and Brachytherapy
With board certification in therapeutic radiological physics and over 15 years of experience as a clinical medical physicist in a Radiation Oncology department, Jablonski Physics is qualified to perform a variety of services in radiation therapy.Experience includes calibration and quality assurance testing on both Siemens and Varian linear accelerators, computerized treatment planning, intravascular brachytherapy using the Novoste Ir-192 system, Nucletron High Dose Rate brachytherapy, low dose rate brachytherapy using Cs-137 and Ir-192 sources, iodine-125 prostate seed implants, iodine-131 therapy for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer.

Gamma Knife Stereotatic Radiosurgery
Leo Jablonski has experience in the treatment of over 250 patients using the Lexsell model B cobalt-60 unit. This includes treatment planning as well as annual, monthly, and daily quality assurance tests.

Diagnostic X-Ray Physics
Jablonski Physics Services performs the required annual quality control surveys on all types of diagnostic x-ray equipment including radiographic units, fluoroscopic units, and CT at several hospitals and clinics in the Midwest.

Mammography
Jablonski Physics Services is board certified and approved by the FDA to provide annual medical physics surveys meeting all MQSA requirements. We also are up to date with continuing education credits required by the FDA in both conventional and digital mammography. Jablonski Physics Services currently provides annual mammography surveys for 26 units at 20 different sites. The MQSA Web site link can be accessed from our links section.

Annual Radiation In-Service Education and Training
We provide radiation safety training required for hospital and clinic employees who work with radioactive materials or radiation emitting devices. The training can be specifically tailored to any department—cardiac cath, radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, surgery, and even housekeeping and maintenance personnel. Training can be provided in person or via CD/video cassette.

Shielding Design and Shielding Surveys
Shielding design and surveys have been provided for many clients for both diagnostic and therapy facilities. From simpler dental x-ray facilities to complicated radiation therapy vaults, Jablonski Physics Services is qualified to provide accurate shielding requirements for your facility. Plus, we are fully insured. Surveys are also done to verify existing shielding for those facilities that don't have the documentation necessary for state inspectors.

Radiation Safety Officer
Leo Jablonski is the Radiation Safety Officer for two facilities in the Lincoln area. Early experience as a state regulator and as a university health physicist has resulted in a broad base of knowledge in both Nuclear Regulatory Commission and state radiation regulations.

Radioactive Material Licensing
If you use radioactive materials, we can prepare your license application and amendments to the state or NRC. Jablonski Physics Services has over 15 years of experience in this area.

Nuclear Medicine
We can also take care of your nuclear medicine quality assurance needs. We perform quarterly audits as well as quarterly dose calibrator testing.
